 - 240ml of hot water
 - Optional: A bit of fennel, peppermint or orange peel for flavour
 
Instructions:
- 1. Place the gentian root in a teapot or heatproof mug.
 - 2. Pour boiling water over the root.
 - 3. Cover and let it steep for 5 – 10 minutes (gentian is bitter, so length depends on your tolerance/tastes)
 - 4. Strain and sip 15 – 30 minutes before meals to stimulate digestion.
